"Life is rough and tough like leather"

What the ……?

This blog has pretty much ended. As my daughter got more active, my time got shorter. As far as my relationship with her father, things changed a great deal after all the drama and although we still aren’t really together, we are able to spend time together as friends and he is still my caregiver.

My million appointments lead me to a diagnosis. Dystonia. Lol. No actually, not to be complicated, my diagnosis just was changed from Dopamine Responsive Dystonia, to Myoclonic Dystonia. What does this mean? It means that the treatment for it will be approached differently. I have been given three different meds in the past month to treat the shaking and also a medicine specifically for Myoclonic. 2 of these meds made me sick and the third one did nothing. The diagnosis was figured out by process of elimination, my symptoms, test results and the fact that my symptoms are relieved by whisky. No matter what I took, nothing works better than whisky. Even though drinking really ain’t my thing, it does make me able to function. There is only one form of Dystonia that responds to alcohol. Myoclonic. It is super rare and when the doc figured it out, she was super excited but no one she told knew what it was except one person who was in shock that she had a patient with it. My lung has an infiltration which was discovered through a CT scan. Could be a big deal. Could not. Going to see a specialist. Despite the fact that I have Dystonia, I also have something unknown. Some of my test were positive which indicates an autoimmune disease. The doc just hasn’t been able to figure out which one. Issues with the lungs can indicate Sarcoidosis in a case like mine. She is super concerned. I go to the specialist on the 16th. I have a sinus blockage as well which indicates Sinusitis or something like that. I am going to see an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor this week about this. Still shaking daily. My speech has become severely affected during these episodes and my eye seems to be closed most of the time. We have learned to work around it but it does get in the way. I hate going places shaking. People tend to just stare at me and none ever ask me am I okay. I’m used to it though. Hell wit em. Lol.

I guess you wondering why this post is called what the …..? I am mad as hell about the Dutch medalist who threw a bottle in the direction of my favorite Olympian, Usain Bolt from Jamaica. If you don’t know about him, you should. He is a track star and the world fastest man now. His teammate got silver, Yohan Blake is his name I believe and Gatlin from the USA got the bronze which was awesome. What a exciting race but right when they were about to take off on the track, some fool threw a beer bottle at them. They said that he was yelling offensive or abusive comments at either them or Bolt. This dude is a medalist as well but not sure for what. He was arrested on the spot and will be in court this morning. What an ass. A drunk ass. The bottle never touched any of the runners but why would you represent your country in this manner. This guy was Dutch and I think his bronze medal should be stripped away and given to whoever came in fourth. Of course they not going to do that and at best, he will be fined for creating a public nuisance. Wasn’t no big deal to the runners because they found out after the race. The only person who knew right away was Gatlin who was right next to the Jamaican runners.

Anyway, big congrats to Bolt and team Jamaica. Although I can’t spell the name of the guy who raced with no legs, what an awesome dude he is and I am so glad that they allowed him to race. Although he came in last, he just wanted to be there and he did really good despite this. It has never been done before so he made history. I am going back to sleep. Got a big day today. This blog is about done although I may post here every now and then. I am not going to delete it but I also won’t be posting much. I am hungry and someone just mentioned bacon on television. Going to get me an omelette from the neighborhood Coney as soon as my daughters father wakes up. She is doing much better and has put on some weight. Still needs a biopsy, more blood work, and she has to see two specialist but she has come a long way. She is super active and rarely sleeps for long. Keeps us so busy, we forget to do everything. What a joy she is though. This was really long but I haven’t posted since June. See yal when I do. If I don’t respond to any comments, it’s because I am a bit busy but I’ll get to them. Social Sister, glad to see you post and I hope you not stressing too much. Things will work out and don’t worry. Life gets rough for all of us. Seems like it will never turn around but it can and will. :-)

Still bottoms up for me!

P.S. – Snoop is doing fine for now. Thinking about getting him a girlfriend. We want some puppies. Baby is woke of course. Slept about six hours. Hope she can go back to sleep on her own. She ate something else she was allergic to and her skin is patchy. It may be bothering her. Think he is going to have to put her back to sleep. She won’t stop crying.

What you said at the end, just made my day :D Thanks so much! I’m trying to cover soo many things in one comment! Ahaha
Hopefully will hear from you soon! xx

    • Thanks little sis. I haven’t been keeping up with you as much as I could. Your last post I read made it seem like you were not going to be around much. Sorry about the issues you were having family wise. I know that must have been hard for you. I may post again after my next appointment. Meds not working so docs going to have to figure out something to help me. Oh yeah, my foster pit bull is here and doing great. Hoping for some puppies. :)

Blessings to you, Moon, on your continuing journey.

  3. Well, let me just make something clear. It was not Edit Bosch who threw the bottle. I have no idea where that idiotic story comes from. It was fan who was sitting next to her and she hit bloody bastard in the back with the palm of her hand. As a sign to show how angry she was with the actual thrower. The actual thrower was just some drunk retard and not a Dutch medalist. So the media made a great deal of rubbish out of this.
